A day in the life of our Property Coordinator, Michelle

Michelle plays a pivotal role in our organisation, working tirelessly to ensure that our client’s property needs are met efficiently and to the highest standards. Join us as we walk through a typical day in Michelle’s shoes.

Michelle’s day kicks off early. Her first task is to work closely with one of our clients in Bathurst who is looking for a Support Independent Living (SIL) property. She begins by diligently reviewing the client’s preferences and requirements. Armed with a strong understanding of their needs, Michelle contacts real estate agents in the Bathurst area to source potential properties. Her goal is to ensure that the client finds a home that perfectly suits their desires and budget.

Michelle engages in in-depth conversations with real estate agents. These professionals have their fingers on the pulse of the property market, and Michelle values their insights. She discusses current market trends, recent transactions, and the specifics of the client’s case. This open dialogue with real estate experts is crucial for securing the best possible property for Zapti’s clients.

After a productive lunch break, Michelle shifts her focus to negotiations. Her next task is to collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality furnishings for Zapti’s clients. Whether it’s robust material sofas, modern kitchen appliances, or trendy decor items, Michelle knows that attention to detail is the key to creating a gorgeous safe living space. She’s an adept negotiator, ensuring that our clients get the best value while maintaining our commitment to quality.

As the day progresses, Michelle packs her car with a carefully curated selection of furnishings and decorative pieces. Her destination? Dubbo, where she’s overseeing the final styling of a property.. Michelle understands that proper staging can make all the difference in a participant’s life and the way they access their home. She meticulously arranges every detail, ensuring that the property exudes an inviting atmosphere, making it irresistible to prospective residents.
