Zapti recently worked alongside a local Occupational Therapist in Dubbo, NSW, to deliver a tailored home modification solution designed to improve accessibility and support the client’s changing mobility needs.
Working from the OT’s recommendations and the existing layout of the property, several custom modifications were delivered throughout the home.
The works included a custom modular access ramp with bilateral handrails and custom powder coating, designed to provide a safe and practical transition from the driveway to the front entrance. A custom landing and floating top plate were also incorporated to accommodate the existing raised concrete pathway and provide a practical solution tailored to the property.
Inside the home, Zapti installed a custom R12-rated shower insert to improve bathroom accessibility, along with two custom rubber threshold ramps to provide smoother transitions between areas of the home.
Zapti coordinated the project from procurement through to installation, working closely with the OT and local trades to ensure each modification aligned with the recommended specifications and the client’s individual needs.
The result is a series of practical, purpose-built modifications that improve accessibility and support safer, more independent movement throughout the client’s home.

Each financial year, Zapti reviews contractor pricing to ensure trade services remain competitive, accountable and aligned with current market rates.
Using industry and market resources including CoreLogic, Rawlinsons, HIA and hipages, contractor rates are benchmarked against market averages across the regions we service.
Our FY26 benchmarking identified average savings of approximately 10% across contractor pricing, demonstrating the value of actively reviewing and managing our contractor network.
Beyond hourly rates, Zapti’s procurement model delivers additional value by minimising call-out fees, which can add approximately $200 to individual jobs.
The result: competitive trade rates, fewer unnecessary call-out costs and consistent service delivery across regional NSW.
Planning for FY27? Now is the time to review where greater value can be achieved across your maintenance program. Speak with our General Manager, James Cardiff, on 0417 848 019 to explore how Zapti’s managed procurement model can help reduce costs, streamline contractor management and improve overall value.
Zapti is proud to announce the launch of its new Artificial Intelligence (AI) workflow assistant, designed to enhance the way maintenance requests and operational processes are managed across the organisation.
Integrated within Zapti’s workflow management platform, the AI assistant has been developed to support faster response times, improve communication and streamline the delivery of maintenance services for clients across regional New South Wales.
The new technology assists with administrative and operational tasks, helping to reduce manual processes, improve consistency and provide greater visibility across maintenance workflows.
General Manager James Cardiff said the implementation reflects Zapti’s commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
“As our operations continue to grow, we’re focused on investing in technology that helps our team work smarter, improves the customer experience and supports better outcomes for the communities we serve.”
The AI workflow assistant forms part of Zapti’s broader commitment to digital innovation and operational excellence.
By incorporating artificial intelligence into everyday processes, Zapti is creating new opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen communication and support informed decision-making across its service delivery operations.
The launch represents another milestone in Zapti’s ongoing growth and reinforces the organisation’s commitment to delivering responsive, reliable and forward-thinking maintenance solutions across regional Australia.
I am absolutely thrilled to introduce myself as the new General Manager of Zapti.
